Mission

The mission of the Divergent Impact Fund is to support bold ideas to improve the lives of neurodivergent and disabled individuals, their families, and communities.

Supported Impact Ventures and Initiatives

In furtherance of its mission, Divergent Impact Fund supports:

Inclusive Fitness

There are less than ten fitness centers in the US fully dedicated to training people with intellectual disabilities and delays. As a result, neurodivergent people and their families experience more preventable diseases and accidents, higher early mortality rates, poor mental health, massive healthcare costs, lower social engagement, and overall lower quality of life.

Inclusive Fitness serves as a gateway to greater mental and physical strength, personal confidence and independence, and engagement in the community. Inclusive Fitness is deeply rooted in empowering neurodivergent individuals to cultivate healthy lifestyles, while also striving to create job and career opportunities for them and their families.

Lucky Ones Coffee

Lucky Ones Coffee is a coffee shop that employs and empowers individuals with neurodiversity and disabilities. The coffeeshop was started by Taylor Matkins and Katie Holyfield who had worked in adaptive recreation and saw the need for more job opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Statistics show that 70% of individuals with disabilities are unemployed. They saw an opportunity to address that troubling issue, and help change the way people see people with disabilities. Currently, they have locations in Park City, UT and Salt Lake City, UT and are in the process of adding a mobile coffee and food truck.
