Pop.U.Lace

Pop.U.Lace is the world’s first GPS-embedded shoe-lace built for individuals with Special Needs and Disabilities.

ABODE

The life of individuals with Special Needs and their families is inundated with a constant mission to find the right support for just their day-to-day life. This can lead to settling for sub-par or overburdened services and start the slippery slope downward in quality of life for individuals with Autism who lack the ability to advocate for themselves.

ABODE provides a multi-floor housing complex designed for individuals with Autism, modeled after existing assisted living facilities for seniors. Each floor functions as a group home, providing a structured and supportive environment for residents. The development leverages principles from assisted living models, including personalized care plans, community spaces, and opportunities for engagement and socialization, all while being mindful of the unique needs of individuals on the Autism spectrum.

Pop.Earth

Short for “Population Earth,” Pop Earth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing inclusive health, wellness, and recreational programming for people of all abilities. Through a team of creative instructors—including artists, dancers, yoga teachers, chefs, and musicians—Pop Earth offers engaging sessions that encourage creativity, social connection, teamwork, and individual expression.

For more than a decade, Pop Earth has delivered programs for participants of all ages and abilities, including social evening recreation programs, activities for day habilitation programs and group homes, and free family-friendly events. Based on Long Island, New York, Pop Earth serves the local community while also partnering with organizations across the country to expand access to inclusive recreational programming.
