Mission

The mission of Red Corner Film Foundation is to support and uplift female filmmakers by providing opportunities for them to bring their stories to life. They are dedicated to telling transformative stories of family, resilience, personal growth, and social change, with a commitment to employing women in production roles wherever possible.

At present, females represent only 28% of actors in front of the camera and an alarmingly lower number behind the camera. Red Corner Film Foundation seeks to change this.

Girl in the Red Corner Film

Girl in the Red Corner Film is currently in development and is a story about a rundown single mom fighting for her family. She collides with an MMA fighter, catapulting her into the world of fight training that feeds her self-confidence; ultimately changing her dysfunctional family and the hope of shedding generations of poverty. When her ex-husband returns from prison, he, too, is fighting for his family and redemption. Girl in the Red Corner is a remarkably provocative, feel-good fight film that empowers audiences to break the cycle of their struggles and fight to change their lives.
