Mission

The mission of Foundation for Africa’s Future is to support social entrepreneurship initiatives that empower Africa’s young people to build a future where prosperity and purpose is within everyone’s reach.

The foundation typically achieves this through initiatives that deliver capital, coaching and community in a way that guarantees sustainable long term impact. Focus areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Improving the productivity of talent through structured training and job placement programs.
  • ⁠Funding technology platforms, social infrastructure and programs that bring young people together across religious, tribal, and class divides.
  • ⁠Empowering entrepreneurial leaders across public, private and civic spaces to lead with courage, do hard things and enable others to prosper.

Future Africa

Future Africa is dedicated to transforming the continent by investing in innovative startups that tackle Africa’s most pressing challenges. It supports visionary founders from the earliest stages, offering crucial resources such as capital, mentorship, and access to a robust network of industry experts. The portfolio includes companies across diverse sectors like technology, health, and finance, all working towards sustainable development and economic growth. By fostering a community of entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers, Future Africa aims to build a thriving ecosystem that propels Africa into a prosperous future.

Accelerate Africa

Accelerate Africa is a pre-seed / seed stage accelerator program that runs multiple cohorts per year for up to 10 startups, taking in startups from across the continent to get support in areas such as storytelling, team development, go to market, product development, and fundraising. The accelerator’s aim is to fill a critical support gap in the earliest stages, and to become the top program for African entrepreneurs looking for support and the pre-eminent accelerator for investors to attend and invest.

Text Foundation

Text Foundation is a leading educational organization based in Nigeria, dedicated to transforming lives through high-quality, values-driven education. The organization oversees Liberty Schools, a network of elementary schools that foster critical thinking, creativity, and leadership in young learners. The Adawiyya Girls Academy in Sokoto, Nigeria focuses on empowering young women by providing education that equips them with the knowledge and skills to become future leaders. Additionally, the Radio School Program extends educational opportunities to underserved and remote communities in Northwest Nigeria, ensuring access to structured learning for all. By addressing educational challenges in Nigeria, Text Foundation is shaping a brighter future through innovative and inclusive initiatives.
