Greenlight sponsors the Climate Technology Fund. The Fund’s mission is to invest in distributed energy and grid technologies. The power grid has been the biggest bottleneck for climate adoption due to an outdated grid system. The current grid is under threat from a variety of risks including cyber and natural disasters, and is not able to keep up with the growing demand for energy due to Artificial Intelligence. The Fund invests in companies that solve these important issues.

Ava Energy AI has patented technology which allows owners of solar and distributed energy to be able to generate profits and live independently off the Grid. If the current grid system fails, Ava protects and defends their home or business through its novel AI tools. Ava Systems is continuing to build out Grid 2.0, a decentralized power grid so that individuals can be free from potential cyber attacks and natural disasters, and allows them to sell their electricity to the compute market for substantially more than the current grid pays.
